Partnership Sales Manager

Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving revenue for Premier Padel, the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour, and FIP international championships. We are seeking a motivated Partnership Sales Manager with a passion for sports and a proven track record in sports right sales. This role will be part of the Commercial Team based at our London office.

Key Responsibilities

• To generate and grow revenue across Premier Padel, the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour and FIP international championships.
• Developing and implementing innovative sales plans for the properties will be a cornerstone of your responsibilities. You’ll engage in proactive outreach to target corporates, generating valuable meetings and leads, and building a robust international network.
• Your role will also involve hosting potential partners at tournaments, providing them with an exceptional experience that showcases the value of our partnerships. You’ll meticulously report and track all sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with the overall Premier Padel commercial strategy.
• Collaboration will be key to your success. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director, the wider Partnership, Licensing, Operations and Broadcast teams, as well as with local tournament promoters and FIP (the International Padel Federation).
• You’ll create, adapt and brief compelling sales decks, applying research and insight generated from our research partners, and term sheets in conjunction with the Commercial Team, and regularly meet with the Commercial Director and General Manager to strategize and align efforts.
• Flexibility is essential in this role, as weekend work and irregular hours may be required to meet the demands of our dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Additional Accountabilities

• Support the Commercial Director across Premier Padel partners when required.
• Support the Commercial Team in any deal renewal planning / negotiation.
• Develop proposals and presentations for prospective partners with support from Commercial Team.
• Coordinate and lead sales status meetings where required.
• Work with external agencies for in-bound opportunities.

About you

• Currently holds a position as a Sponsorship Sales Manager for an agency, or rights holder, demonstrating similar experience working with international brands.
• Proficiency in creating assets and sponsorship programmes involving multiple partners of varying types.
• Proactive and work well within a team.
• Can work under pressure, embraces challenges, and leads partners to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Has a good commercial awareness and understanding, including working with contracts.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Experience of working in a sponsorship sales focused role.
• Demonstrable experience building excellent working relationships and dealing with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Experienced in delivering against key KPIs.
• Demonstrable ability to work and deliver under pressure.
• Results driven with good commercial acumen.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
• English speaking, with proficiency in one or more of Spanish, Italian, or French.
• Experience in commercial contracts involving rights negotiation and delivery.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sponsorship sales, ideally within the international sports industry, and a strong background in B2B sales. An existing network of contacts within the industry is highly desirable. While experience in the sports industry is ideal, it is not essential.

• This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday based at our London office, although irregular hours may be required during tournaments.
